Corners of the street where I live

This is the excerpt for your very first post.

Staying local throughout Lockdown meant lots of retracing footsteps from the day before and big decisions such as “do I turn left or right outside the gate?” A small village with one main street, you could be forgiven for thinking that the same walk day after day would be boring!

I decided to revisit an idea for a project and thought that it suited the climate of the pandemic. ‘Corners of the street where I live’ The idea behind this was simple – to look for lots of corners on my daily walk. Our worlds had got smaller as travel was restricted so the idea of going in and focussing on the small details appealed. It actually opened the door into another world as there were corners wherever I looked.

The final images were presented locked into in a grid, conformed and regulated and displaying their own corners.
