About

Sue Marsden photographer and artist

Artist Sue Marsden

Based in the Ribble Valley I take my inspiration from the beautiful countryside around me. My work usually includes images of nature – animals, skies, fields and flowers but very rarely people! My walks are not marathons or steep ascents but meanders of discovery. I love seeing colour combinations, abstract shapes, textures or even chance encounters with mythical beasts.

My camera is my constant companion and enables me to record fleeting moments, masses of detail or just acts as an aide memoire. My finished work may be a printed photograph, painting or gift card based on ideas formed.

I’m also a trustee of Primrose Nature Reserve located in the centre of Clitheroe, providing a developing community space and haven for wildlife.
